a couple days ago we got our first conchs....so delicious! and so much easier to prepare than we thought they would be....this is definitely the start of a very yummy friendship. Provided we can get used to them staring at us with their weird alien stalk eyes while we are killing them, that is.
But hey, unless you're a true vegetarian, you better be able to look your food in the face, right?After the first one we sort of got the knack of extracting them from their shells.....
