don't worry...neither term is remotely nautical. "electric fence" is a (apparently obscure) reference to our close brush with electrocution getting to the spot you see in the photo, and a "bight" is what they call an inlet in the Caribbean...sort of where the sea takes a "bite" out of the land!!!!
i'm glad you asked...maybe it is time for another FAQ post.
