welcome to our blog!

This blog tells the story of our 22-month sailing journey from Oakland, California, to Bristol, Rhode Island, aboard our beloved Bristol 32 sailboat, Ute. Please feel free to browse through the archives (partway down the sidebar to your left) to see pics and read stories of our adventures in North America and Central America . (Sorry the first 3 months of the trip are missing - they vanished somewhere in an internet cafe in Mexico - but all you're missing is CA, Baja and Western Mex).

If you're trying to track us down now that we're landlubbers, try us at uteatlarge at yahoo dot com. Thanks!

Mike gets one what on Tim?

Hey Cora! This is in all earnesty-- I have really been enjoying your Macalester alum magazine! Seriously, last time there was an insightful article about three women who had left the workforce to concentrate on raising a family- which is topical for our generation-- and this time there is an interview with an hispanics professor about how Don Quixote can change your life. Seriously- so much better than Wheaton-- although Mike's flipped through and was like "looks like Wheaton"- Personally, I think that Macalester has better articles!
Miss you...but loving your mail~ :)
Squinch to those guys~~
Cally
Owie is chasing rabbits in his woofy dreams right now...or maybe he's running along the shore in Mexico trying to get your attention! Either way, its really cute...
Hope that you are all great! Por favor- una margherita per me? Is that right? xoxoxo
